BBR Headquarters updated delegates of latest projects and developments within the Network

Dr. Antonio Caballero, Head of R+D, updated to the BBR Network members  about the new status on the BBR VT CONA CMX Post-tensioning system.  During the presentation the three new European Technical Approvals (ETA)  for internal, CMI BT and CMI SP, and band applications, CMB SP, were  presented. The new BBR VT CONA CMI approvals, CMI BT and CMI SP, cover  all types of internally post-tensioned applications with tendons sizes  from 1 to 73 seven-wire prestressing strands. The new BBR VT CONA CMB SP  approval covers both internal and external applications with band  tendons which are factory-provided with a corrosion protection system.  The CONA CMB BT is available on tendon sizes from 1 to 16 seven-wire  prestressing strands. Dr. Antonio Caballero also updated to the BBR  Network members with the latest R+D testing carried out along the last  year on specific topics such as damping/sag, friction/wear and pin  connector among others.
Prof. Berislav Medic, design engineer of  Zagreb Arena, presented architectural and structural design aspects on  various buildings and stadiums he completed recently. An overview about  new publications which are now available for the Network and our  customers was given by Thomas Richli, Business Development Manager.  Furthermore, he informed about future marketing projects and coming  regional application trainings – a further milestone of BBR’s continuous  education program.
